I first started using computers at the age of 13, when I needed one for my school assignments.

I was immediately curious about how computers worked, and I began learning by experimenting and exploring.

Since then, I have been introduced to many new technologies and have enjoyed understanding their functionality and maximizing their potential.

I later completed a first-class BSc in Computer Science at the University of Hertfordshire in 2002

I recently spent more than 15 years developing and maintaining a CRM and customer portal used to manage bookings, staffing, equipment, donations and other business operations. This has given me valuable experience in connecting systems, improving workflows and making complex information easier to manage.

My first IT role was in a school IT department, where I maintained Windows servers and the computers used by staff and students. This included diagnosing technical problems, installing software and helping to manage computer replacements.

Since then, I have worked with several activity centre charities, helping to improve their IT infrastructure alongside my main responsibilities. In my most recent role, IT became my primary focus. I managed everything from computers and networks to connectivity and security.

I am a focused worker, fully engaged with the task at hand and committed to completing it to the best of my abilities.

Both details and the bigger picture are important to me, so I consider the wider implications of any changes before making them.

I have an inquisitive mind and enjoy understanding how things work, which has led me to learn many new technologies over the years by exploring them and discovering what they can do.
